Default after the weekends fun and frivolity

it's got me thinking, what was your best/favorite journey to any place for whatever reason in a car?

it doesn't have to be your car, it doesn't have to be a particularly eventfull trip, or a megamarathon journey, just the one you've got fron memories of

i'm sure there are bound to be several that are regarding with fond memories for everyone so i won't limit you on the amount of times you can post a list up, saturdays adverntures were great, but i've also done a random trip to go and see the humber bridge, and when we got there is was 2am and foggy as fuck , or the time i went to somwhere in the north to collect a second hand printer because it was £30 cheaper than buying a new one in london

Me and Simhopper off here once did a road trip in a Nissan Cabstar.

Start at my house in skem
Pick Simon up from Preston
Drive to bolton to collect pollycarb windows
Then off to Kent for his new Fiesta shell on the hottest day of the year in a uncomfy vehicle with no air con
Then we go to Essex to collect a new fiesta tailgate
Then the massive run up to Simons in Edinburgh
Stay over at simons then the next aftermoon once having a little move around in his workshop and almost cutting my finger off I drove home from Edinburgh.

Over 1000 miles in a crappy pickup and the whole journey was a blast

When my car was smashed on the Gumball I was struggling to get the insurance to sort out recovery so I called a mate in Digbeth and asked him if he wouldn't mind popping over to Morocco in his truck to collect my car Anyhow after about 10 seconds thinking about it he said that he would leave that day!! I came back with him in the truck, not a bad journey but it was tinged with sadness.

Got far too many!

But one of the funnest ( if there is such a word! ) was when Lee and me were driving to stansted airport to meet the guy who had bought his skyline..... i was in the porsche, lee was in the skyline, and we drove FLAT OUT the entire way! We had such a blast, even the traffic knew damn well what we were doing and moved out of our way to let us past! i think we did a 50 minute journey in about 20 minutes!

Tinged with sadness, but still you survived... Surely thats something to celebrate and the fact your current car is the bollocks.

One of the funnyest was my best pal havin the bright idea of runnin in my brand spankin new engine in my rs turbo cabrio on the way to Cornwall to see the eclipse !!

So we planned it all (during that day), got our birdy's together, they was best mates too & set off down there in the middle of the night !!

Didn't quite realise how long it would take a 3000 rpm !! It took about 8 hours !!

Was so funny on the way, the amount of sh*t we got up too !!

Got to the view point of the eclipse & parked, run over & guess what !?!?

F**king over cast !!

Couldn't see f**k all, so jus drove home again at 3000 rpm

Propa random, but so funny !!

The other journey I love doin is goin Box Hill of an evenin
