This may be a little late (tried a search and dont think its been said yet) but firmware v30 is out.

Taken from allaboutsymbian.com

An updated firmware, v30.0.015, has been made available for the Nokia N95 classic. Updates include the latest versions of Nokia service applications (Nokia Maps 2.0, Share online 3.0), inclusion of the full N-Gage client and smaller updates to a number of applications. The updates also adds automatic screen rotation to the N95 classic.
pity my screen has just died

there is a new version for the 8gb which has auto rotate in - I have it on mine but diabled it as it was a PITA. Your update program should find it unless you are on a specific version of phone (eg, voda, oragnge etc) which havent confirmed compatability. Its easy to set to a Euro setting to make generic if you need to

Had screen rotation on mine ages ago with the "rotate me" program. HATED IT, couldnt think of anything more annoying

Also if you gonna update, EVEN if you "back the phone up" be prepared to re-install the applications you have installed, if you have of course

Shame that Nokia don't want to fix the bluetooth issues with the phones they produce. That's why I've gone back to Sony Ericsson as that has no issues with it's use full stop.

Being a bit louder may be good, even tho have damaged my speaker slightly by letting the alarm play a bit long once

Anybody else get a problem like I do ? Now cos the battery life so shit, I got a couple (three actually lol) batteries I rotate, so one in phone one charging and one charged ready to go , now the annoying thing it does is everytime I put a new battery in it, whenever I want to go into my applications folder (or any in that menu screen) it ALWAYS goes into "profiles" , dont matter if I highlight something else and select when on it, you actually see it jump back to the profile option and select that
