235s will go nicely on an 8J, so i rekon u could push 285s on the back - might need some arch extensions though

no they fooking dont go nicely, i just got mine rolled like fook and they still catch when spiking boost , caravan assiter rubber things are on there now and that seems to have sorted it out, i cant get em for ya for about 17 quid for a pair from work phil, as ya sorted me out with the injectors and duel pump before

i got 235's and 8j wheels

I can't believe you are running 215 pieces of shit!!!!

I run 8's (17's) on the rears with 235's with no arch mods and they are fine with TOYO's. But even that didnt stop it from lighting the rears up in the wet in 4th!

You SERIOUSLY wanna get you geometry checked mate, as something could be as bent as a banana.

Phil,
I'm not saying anything is, but it's just worth sticking it on a 4 wheel alignment rig to be sure. As something could quite easily be a drift that the naked eye wouldnt pick up.

changing the beam really should help allot!

for comparison, my mate also has a cosworth kitcar but its a robin hood 2b which uses the standard saff rear beam. now when we are driving together mine has irs rear wishbones and will pull out of corners under hard acceleration and not normally spin but his will spin like fook at the same speeds.

traction control tested and proved to be shit

del's old saph used to run traction control, was adjustable in car and worked wonders, he used to keep fooking about with it rather than looking where he was going though

No, what Rod said was that Mark (i.e. a skilled driver) could launch it better than with the traction control left on and doing it's thang . Ipso facto, a waste of time and money compared to a good driver.
