A guy at work has said I could have his 325i E30, its a 5 door and is so rusty its not worth doing body work.
I know of a 318 auto 3 door with good body work that I could get cheap with no MOT or tax. Question is, is it a straight swap e.g running gear, engine, suspension and so on to put everything needed from the 325i 5 door to the 3 door 1.8 auto.
Also what would it be like on track with decent suspension brakes?

There are a couple of lads that work next to me that mess about with E30`s, I think they and quite a few other use E30zone.com or CO.UK. Should be able to help you out.

go to www.e30zone.net for all the answers youll need. a 325 will have different suspension and rear brakes compared to a 318 but its all interchangeable so no real issues.

 

yeh cheers got both complete cars so will just (I say just) lift both cars off everything and drop 3 door back on 2.5 stuff, with new parts.
