mate had one, nippy little things, wouldnt like to have a crash in one though. lost count of how many things went wrong with his aswell. His was an R reg and that was a few years ago.
Would have one over a saxo any day though.

My Mum had a 106.. I couldn't even drive the thing with my shoes on, the pedals are a gnats cock apart.

not at present, hes got the ibiza and i now have the 106. Part ex'd the Octavia in for the Ibiza which left me car less

my dad had a 94 1.4 106 yonks ago, it was pretty reliable to be honest, but parts expensive.

Good wee motors.
My wife has a 51 plate and now just over the 50K mark.
Very nippy and nice to drive (compared to my feestie van!)
Agree with the pedal comment though. I can't drive it with my shoes/boots on as I throttle and brake at the same time!
