Default 1.8 16v silver top or 2.0 16v black top?

I am going to do a ZT for my S2 and keep debating what to do.
I have a mondeo just to smoke around in but the T&T is up December and i was thinking of ripping the engine (1.8 silver top) out and using that.
But i can get a 2.0 black top for not bad money and just can not make my mind up.

What's the point in using a blacktop bottom end but a silvertop head? The head is the best bit about a black top!!

I didnt think the heads were interchangable between black and silver tops?
Why not just buy a 2.0 silver top?

The blacktop head has solid lifters and the silvertop head has hydaulic lifters.

you might find it a pain putting the engine in, cambelt tensioner may foul the engine mount

the black top is the best base engine. You wouldn't have any problem with the water pump on that either.

no, the black top is the best engine, its just I came into problems with mounting it, though with a little persuasion it went in.
