Kittens ! ?
we were thinking of getting a bengal kitten, but not sure if this is what we really want as they are not really lap cats.
were do you get normal kittens from no actual breed pet shops dont really do them anymore, re homing places want to come and inspect your home and you have to fill out 3 forms before you even get to choose a kitten
seems very hard work to me

They are very intelligent and very energetic - you must give them plenty of opportunity for excesive so they are not suited to be inside all the time unless you have a prupose built gym/enclosure. I have had a lot of cats and would recommend a bengal.
They are fussy with food and fresh water and are very vocal.
Try looking on Gumtree in your area, this is where I got my first cat..............lots of normal kittens!!!!
Although beware!
Travelled all the way from Essex to Birmingham, and paid £300 pound for apparently a mancoon Kitten...........absolutley gorgeous until I took her for the first vet visit and they put on her file long haired domestic...........beware of scammers!!!!!

Bengals are ace - do not get one if you want a lap cat - however our boy does sit on us every night. I trust him completely around our baby but you must "train" bengals from a early age if you want the to be good (pack training, showing him that he has hurt you etc).
