Default Skyline parts prices

Surely he would be better off breaking it?

http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/102569-19...rk-tuning.html

Must be worth way more than 32K in bits?

Lot of hassle though I guess, and he doesnt exactly sound technically minded

It must be that fuel magnetiser thats strapped to the fuel feed line that gave it 992bhp

Mental bargain considering the spec, and 10.4@141 without launching it and 198mph at TOTB shows its not shy!

By sounds of the bills etc, he has been massivley raped over the years, like most Skyline owners do

Personally I would be wounded at spending 100k+ on a car that "only" runs mid 10's ..

He hasnt, read what he put.

He has spend 6.5k on a rebuild, but he has well over 100k in reciepts for it from Japan and so on.

And did that times fully trimmed, road tyres, 32psi, and soft launches.

Easy 9sec fully trimmed car.

Veyron acceleration for much less cash

Tad less reliability than the veryon though, hence it needed a rebuild, lol

Cool car though for sure

Who knows how reliable a Veyron is though! Most supercars are far from bulletproof, thats for sure!

And if its only gonna cost 6.5k, its no biggie, bet a veyron is at least 10 times that for the same work, lol

Veyron speed on M3 money, budget balling at its finest, lol.

Id go out on a limb and say that 250bhp from a multivalve 4 cylinder 2 litre engine (what the veryon essentially has 4 of joined together) made by VW should be pretty reliable, based on my experiences of similar, but I havent got any experience of a veryon itself yet

I agree the skyline is monster performance for the money though and now all the hard work has been done shouldnt be too expensive to keep on top of providing you dont rod it or something like that!

you only have to look what happened to the Jun Super Lemon at TOTB to realise that a 1000bhp Skyline is a fooking big expensive timebomb waiting to go off!

Fooook that!

I was having a mad moment.. I'm make it the land of the sensible now!

The only way I would want 1000bhp is with a Veyron or a BIG fuck off Yank V8!
