Sorry to bring this up publically but after you have ignored all my ebay messages and a private message via this forum I thought I woud give this a go.

Can you please contact me RE The heatshield I bought on the 9th of August and have not recieved.

If anyone else has contact details for the company, a phone number or something that would be brilliant.

Thanks

I figured he was legit as he traded through the forum too, I really feel like a c**t for having to bring this up so publically.

The delay isnt such a problem a reply to one of my messages would have been good though

I had an issue with him too. Bought something off him which was not as described. No refund and he refused to accept it back as a return. He'd sent it to me as a favour apparently. Neg him on Ebay if I were you.

I have been trying to contact him for 2 months now, through email and PM´s, with regards to a part that hasn´t been sent.
He was quick enough to answer until he had my money, though.

I won an auction for a cam pully on ebay, got it for £5, obviously he didnt think it was enough, ignored all my emails and messages. Then another came up on ebay, bidded again, went higher, funnily enough he took my money this time.

if you sell things as a trader then surely it must be something you do everyday so surely a pm would have been noticed and then the polite thing to do would have been reply to where the sheild was ?? youve waited long enough mate , some one must have a land line for him ?

iirc if you open up a dispute on ebay then you can get more contact detail's. the only thing i'm annoyed with at the mo is the lack of comunication.

I wouldnt put your name as a guarantee and associate SCS with this man Jim, genuine? You really dont know what he does then. He has taken payment for an auction for an escort cosworth rear anti roll bar and sent me a bent piece of metal, even by his admission it was not an ESCOS item and doesnt know what it was from, he would never send me a return address and ref number or return payment, at £35 I thought the ARB cheap... so did he so he never sent the proper item. Its been well over a year now and no replies to PMs, mails etc Truely a rip off merchant, how often does he do this to people do you think? Passionford should sort him before a ripped off customer does, its not on.

if so then why aint he told us that. it's only common courtisy(sp) to let folk know that's given him money( sometimes into the hundred's) that it might take a bit of time to reply or send the stuff out..

Ive never had a problem with him, even when i have brought stuff and havent been happy with it he has always been happy to return and refund, even when i have left returning the item for a good couple of months its still not been a problem.

i am shocked to hear about these complaints about tim tbh, ive known him for a few years now, and only through buying things from him, yes things get delayed, but this is not his only or main business, but saying that, is not an excuse, but to prioritise things that are happening in his life at the moment ... 1st baby arrived not too long ago, hes just moved house/workshop (this is not a few days event for a workshop that big)

so yes he is not always the fastest in the world for post, and when your dealing with this many large parts things do get mixed up, the lads who do his stripping/packing only makes for the opertunity of more mistakes unfortunatly. bare with him, he will sort you out,

as for the £35 ARB, fookinell, there must be something else happening there, trust me he's not the type of person who is desparate for £35, do your emails end up in the trash for some reason ? some of mine do, ive spent thousands with him, and never had any issues, other than sometimes you have to percevere with him, if you saw where he had to put his phone to get a signal you would laugh, theres no way i would ever hear it, and theres no way i would ring everybody back who i'd missed a call from.

just my experiance.

for future reference; i've always used Paul at North Yorks RS Spares. Spent a small fortune with him; parts with me the next day; he takes all card payments; and if something is ever faulty i get a replacement normally the next day.

IMO; awesome service and a fellow enthusiast - cannot fault the bloke in the slightest, wouldnt use anyone else

Tims brilliant, cousin bought a cossie few weeks ago of him,he said if you dont fancy it over the nxt few days then bring it back n you can have the money back cause it`ll break for more!!
And he seriously doesnt seem like he`s desperate for a £35 ARB, his premise are massive!!! oh and he`s loaded up to the hilt with shotguns so Id think twice about going to his door with all guns blazin, the amount of parts that go in and out there every day is unreal

My personal experiences have been all good as well, the only prob I ever had was a hub I bought being the wrong side to what I bought and he replaced it and collected the wrong one the next day.. awesome.

ive been moving house for the last two weeks plus been away all this week,
ive a few lose ends to tie up with outstanding orders which are being done today/tommorow.

heatshield sent (and lost) by royal mail, but ive already refunded you so you cannot complain at me sorry.

rear arb,the picture you sent me some months afer you got your parcel was off nothing i had ever seen before or owned,i told you this ages ago and ask for more details which i never got off you.if your aggreived about this pm me,dont threaten me or that will get you nowhere!!iam sure its nothing we cannot sort out,and £35 for an escort rear arb???????????????are you sure?thats cheap.

anyone else with a problem, get in touch via ebay on the item you have issues with,it gets sorted out so much quicker.

and i dont take credit cards as i dont want to go through the hassle of getting a card machine in etc, paypal works fine for me and is so much easier for the buyer and safer as they claim the payment back at the slightest sign of a spec of dirt so often!!

and i dont allow personal callers as 90% of the time i hang around waiting and they dont turn up!!ive not got the time for that.
