I suggested my work which is open 24/24.What a courrier that was, they should hang him by the ...So maybe everything will be allright after all ?? I'll keep you updated !!

this is so often the problem, why do folk get stuff sent to an empty house?

i hope they didnt go back to ireland though!

with reference the above parcel,we sent this as soon as payment cleared, the parcels went to belgium, the guy wasnt in to sign for them, took 10 days to get a contact phone number off him,and by then they were returned back here, busines post use parcel farce to deliver euro parcels now!!so took almost 6 weeks to get both parcels back to the exact same place they were to start with!!end result,we charged about Ł60 postage, less paypal fees i actually get alot less than this, and its cost me just over Ł200 in extra charges because you were not in!!

now ive said i will resend to a business address only, and this will now cost me a further Ł60,

so whos the fucking cunt now then???????????

bet some of you passion fruit warriors would be a little pissed aff if one sale had actually lost you around Ł300 cash because somebody wasnt in?and this happens weekly and daily.

beleive it or not 99% of the problems are with the buyer!and i end up not getting stuff sorted out fast because an incident like above actually took around 5 hours to sort out in total.

and then i get an email as follows,

selling on ebay,a sapphire cosworth 4x4 steering rack, message as follows "high mate will this rack fit my 4x4 sapphire cosworth?" and there are hundreds similar,so forgive me if i ignore you!!

and "hi mate, whats your address to send payment to?" usually on an invoice with my adddress no more than 3cms away on the same email.

then the cheque turns up with no delivery address,so i email for an address, get no response,so send to the one on ebay,oh and then guess what, the parcel gets returned back here undelivered because the buyer moved a year ago!!

and you all think the sellers are scammers and cunts!!try walking a mile in my shoes.

as for anyone losing money, you tell me who has? because the only one who has has been me!!

rant over.

Tim,

If you have sent the goods and the carrier could not make delivery due to the recipient never being in and as a result they have been returned to you then there's no way I would be sending them back without the customer paying the expenses incured!

Thats fair enough, i always ask for a shipping address and check someone will be in when its going to be delivered. Trouble is some companies i have bought off wont send the parts to a different address other than the billing address. This makes it impossible for me to be at home when im at work. I have to ask one of my neighbours to keep an eye out for the courier.

When people are not at home, 99% of the courriers leave a little note in the letterbox so you can get is at there depot. After more then 300 ebay buys, this is the first time the courrier doesn't go to the neighbours and doesn't leave a note. Some of them even leave it at the door or throw it over the fence ...People do go to work you know (how would we pay our Fords ?)In my opinion the courriers are the reason for al thim problems, not the seller or customer !

the above is the parcels journey back to me,costing a lot of money,i asked you for a contact number at the time, you gave us it about 10 days later, the parcel came back here,

so if you pay for the redeivery and all the postage costs it will be sent out at 3pm the day you pay,but not to the unreliable addres you gave, only to a business address as the parcel needs signed for.

i did my bit last september, what else do you want?

you have not 1 clue about being a Good courier then have you, you sound like 1 of them people who moan there parcel should off been left cause you had to work, and when the courier does leave the parcel cause your at work you will be the first to say you havent recived the said parcel and try a fleece some free goods. Listen you know you have a parcel coming it takes 2 mins to Track your parcel on the net so why do you and countless other people still go to work when you know its arriving on that day or leave a note to say try a neighbour if out!! then a good courier will try the neighbour and leave a card to say which one job done no time of work for you and you still get your parcel

Hang on, this thread was started because of an issue arising after someone buying something off ebay? Though you are getting communication from the seller on this thread (which I assume is why it has been left open) Tim has no responsibility to reply here in public should he not want to.
I will leave this thread here for now unless I hear otherwise from Tim, as this has nothing to do with passionford, and there is no legitimate reason to bring it up on here.
Tim, PM me if you want it removing, unless you are happy for it to continue.
