Matt- Yup, a damper/hanger was my plan too, NEVER see em on Skylines, but frankly ive took more ideas from mad Cossies than Skylines for my car anyhow...

Tho to be fair to Anders ive edited out the bit about the Avance R32 and that pic. But basicly that inlet there was the insparation, and the ONLY other GTR inlet like that. The Veilside ones a bit like that, but nowhere near as good.

As you might have guessed, battery has to go in the boot now...

Not just me with my bare hands, no, lol, but im 99% wel put it in, not hard really, esp as a few things (mainly pipes) need making up and il need to measure em up once we got the engine back in.

Its the setting up and mapping that i couldnt do, any old monkey with the right tools n a bit of help can get engines in n out, mate of mine who lives over by safeways has had his engine in n out of his one about 5 times this year as its fucked

I know of it, its the kid who used to own the green Rover tomcat with viper stripes.

Ive never seen it go, but from what i know of the "claimed" spec 550-600bhp is possible i think.

I have SERIOUS doubts if it is tho... because...

The rover turbo was "claimed" to have a big big spec too, uprated and forged everything and 350bhp, ive seen under the bonnet and its got a std size turbo (T25), even the tiny std intercooler, and on the way to TRAX in 2003 me n Wils raced him in the 200SX (not even the faster 1st one, the slightly slower 2nd one) and could easy enough pull away from them, and even the first SX wasnt more than about 270bhp, and the 2nd one wasnt as quick...

He was trying to, or has, sell that white one? Dunno if he has.

Id like to race it tho (tho to be honest even with 600bhp hed be at least 100bhp down, hopefully a lot lot more...)

Aaah now thas interesting...

Lol, well, its a lot of claims and no proof, but what hes claiming most of it "could" be true, but doubtfull.

I know someone who text him about the car when it was for sale in redline (months ago, guess still not sold it) and he said the mods and the RR figure was all done in japan and so he got no proof, when thats crap as Abbey Motorsport rebuilt it as it blew up jus after he bought it, that on its own makes me wanna call bullshit on it all, and explains why nobodys bought it.

He reckons hes got 620bhp on 550cc injectors, well its safe to say you wont get more than 550bhp on 550cc injectors on a 6cyl car, no matter what a RR says.

The engine mods he mentioned, well there no proof they NOT on there without seing the car properly (tho it all looks remarkably standard, and tattty), but from his previous form (ie the rover claims) i have serious doubts.

The 0-60 and top speed are obviously made up, tho given the room (ie autobahn, no chance at brunters) it could probly do it.

Claims over 60k spent, if so, then thas a lot of cash for that spec.

The suspension, and diff mods he claims to have i doubt very much if got most of them, as they very rare to have in the UK (even Keiths 9sec GTR didnt have an uprated front diff).

LOL@OS HKS Clutch Thats a lil lie, or a big lie, you see OS is OS Gicken who make uprated clutches, and HKS do too, how does he have 2 companys clutches in his car at once? lol.

Thats NOT a N1/Nismo front bumper, its a std one, no vents, i have a N1/Nismo one on mine.
Thats NOT N1 headlights, thas std ones, i can tell by the bulbs.
NOT N1 rear bumper, all GTR rear bumpers are same, but N1s have extra bits by the wheel arch, MINE has, that has the smaller ones.

Suprised if its a V-Spec either, hardly any R32s are.

Looks like most of it is lies, but from a load of pics you cant be 100% on a lot of it.

If its all true then itd be a bloody nice car, but some of it deffo aint true as the pics show that, and the rest of it, welll...

Hello mate.

The turbo in the pic is the GT42 with the largest of the 2 option compressor wheels, the 1000bhp one, so i think thats an RS isnt it?

Thats for my mates car tho, im not using a GT42 now as was messed about by a company in the 'states when trying to buy one, i just used them pics as my exhaust manifold (which is identical) isnt finished yet.

I now got a Turbonetic turbo. Dont worry, its just as big, lol

You mentioned about having the inlet manifold/plenum flow tested to see how equal they are, any results yet or will you dyno it and compare Lamda at all 6 exhaust ports?

I hope that makes more sense to you than it does to me

I ask as i find manifold design interesting

Hope it performs as good as it looks

Inlets tested and as equal as damnit (as detailed as i know, lol).

The std plenumn (as used on the GrpA cars, and good for over 800bhp anyway) is VERY unequal under boost, and people just map around that problem normally.

The inlet itself will perform, has the flow for 1400bhp+ with ease, and im not going that far

Thanks Stu, well thanks everyone, im pretty chuffed.

The pistons/rods/sump/etc are very cool too, il have to get some decent pics, think got some of the sump, but the only piston ones are of a trial fit in an engine and they all durty n dirty (philMs seen them).

Got an ATI crank damper for it too if anyone knows what that is...
Not got any pics of mine as to this day ive never seen it
But its this...

Marco- Its not being built as a trackday car, and you know it, so stop with the sly digs eh

Very nice, aswell as the quality of the workmanship it looks well engineered and thought of properly. Inlet design is spot on.

Good luck mate.
