Still a nice looking M3

stop guessing

things like "viper 2 chip" "adds 30bhp" and "black diamond discs" say "STEER CLEAR OF ME not WOW, THERE'S SOME GOOD MODS

oh, and "i replaced the TPS cos it was old" well, it's a service item so it should have been replaced quite bloody often... lol

tps a service item on the hundreds of m models we have serviced in here its defo not on the sheet we must have been missing them out.need to look into that,
I posted the link because it looked like a fairly decent car (ignore the idiots write up)
if it had a miltec on it i dont see it any different yo yours so i hope this guy isnt paying any more than 5.5k as with 5.5k in todays market with a bit of traveling im sure you could replace your car quite easily

see its started already on guessing the prices

TPS should be changed in an Inspection II on a 3.0 M3 (dunno about evo)

its not just the idiots writeup, its showing that the guy has put cheap shit mods on the car that have de-valued it below what it would be if it was standard, and highlighted the car that it has not been correctly looked after. thats what makes it overpriced. If that advert said "100% standard mint example" it would be different (still not worth 5.5k tho).

just because a car has the same type of modifications doesnt make them the same quality. If anyone's genuinely interested in how well maintained my car was (ie not interested in relation to how much i'm trying to blag a load f money its not worth aparently ) then i'll happily go thru my receipts and show you.

this may be a good example of how much different some people's opinions of "well maintained" differ to others opinions

How about;

"we sensible people trust what you're saying, not that it has fuck all to do with us anyway, and therefore dont need to ask"

?

Its a shame to see your car like that

I really liked the look of it, I was thinking about looking at it when phil was selling it.

Hope you find something good enough to replace it

Wow. What a horrible circumstance for all concerned.
This has to be the greatest test of friendship and 'honor' I've seen between two chaps.
Much resepct to the guy breaking the escort. Bare in mind his car was probably as dear to him as the M3 was to Jim.
I bet it was one of those days he wished he'd never got out of bed.

I know what a handful low-power RWD stuff is in the wet, I'd hate to think how long i'd have lasted in the beemer.

Actually i'd say a game of "hide the salami" with someone's mum/sister would be worse :cry

Read the small print mate! The HIC cover doesn't cover ALL track days, just certain ones. Went into it in detail with them when we did the 'Redline Insurance' through them. It wasn't quite the deal it looked like it was.

I'd suggest studying your policy before you hit the next track to make sure you really are covered.
