Default zetec crank oil seals?

can these be fitted without removing the oil pump with a tool? im having a nightmare trying to get mine in and dont want to remove the pump to do it as then i have to remove the engine mount etc to do it and i have very limited space in my engine bay so wouldnt be able to fit a torque wrench down there

If you're talking crank pulley side - then yes - i've done a few.

Once you've taken the cambelt crank pulley off then you can just use a hook tool or a self tapper to pull the crank oil seal out then push the new one in

Oil pump doesn't need to come off!

ive got the old one out no problem, the problem is with getting the new one in without it folding back on itself

sounds like your pushing it in too hard fella
put the top first and then try and push the bottom in its a bit hard to expalin through typing but it ends up that the bottom only needs a little bit of a tap
if this helps

whats making it akward i think is that the engine is in the car and not much clearance around it

is the outer bit on the oil pump nice and clean and free from any debris fella
a few people from work even put oil or grease around the outer part of the seal to make it slid in better
