Default Help setting up mail

Anyone know how to do this? It's doing my nut in!

Basically, i got a sky email account or two and want to set up my iphone so that it recieve the emails from them BUT so i can also get them on Outlook too.

Presently, when i download from the iphone i can't get it on outlook too, must be a way surely?
Also, i'm not that technically minded so clear instructions would be good if you've managed this?

TIA Neil

do you get them sent to your iphone? using the mail app, or do you go on the sky website?

my dad uses outlook for his emails, but when he receives them on his iphone they still go to outlook

That's what I want to do, does your dad use sky too?

I got outlook setup but like I say I can't get them on my iPhone if outlook gets them or vice versa.

you have it set to delete the messages from the server upon connection

if you want to share it on multiple PCs, make sure it doesnt delete the messages when it receives them

so i needed to tick the box in the setting on outlook that says about leaving messages on the server?

Also, i have it set up for pop3, not imap. Tried imap it kept failing the self tests, probably got the password wrong or something!

EDIT: just sent myself a test message, seems to have worked....... time will tell!
