I have been using the Co-Op online banking for a few years now and never had any problems until last night. Went to the log in page as usual and the page had changed. It was asking for my online pin in full and would not let me through to the next page of security checks with out answering the question.
Thought this was odd so I rang the bank and the IT guy told me that I was not on there log in page? So we both went to google and yahoo and typed in Co Op Bank and clicked the first link etc.... His screen looked how it should do and mine still showed the screen with extra security questions. so he checked my loggin history and asked when i had last logged in. Some one has been trying to get in to my account online but couldnt get past the last security question so thankfully I have not lost any money.
Bank have changed all my security questions and answers and advised me not to use the site from my PC at home. When I go to the site from work its fine but from my home PC its the fake site and nothing I have done seems to let me get to the real Co-Op banking site. What do i do?
Any ideas or help would be much appreciated

Have you tried using different internet browsers? for example if you use I.E try firefox or vice versa.
Also run spybot incase you have any spyware etc, and also what anti virus do you run? if its something decent i.e NOT norton, then run a full scan.

I thought that but was hoping there was another way. So does it sound like someone has hacked or put a virus or software on my PC to get my details?

Sounds like you may be a victim of the DNS flaw found a couple of months ago. Check your PC under Add/Remove programs for a microsoft update called KB951748. If its not installed, get it from here
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en
Install it accepting the default options. If you use Zonealarm you'll need to head over to their site for a patch that is required once you have installed the above KB.
Next, open a command prompt, type ipconfig /flushdns then exit.
Reboot the machine.
Try the page again and see if this helps. If not, its not what I thought, but hey it sounded good

You are not the only one to mention this DNS flaw now so it could be that.
