so true Should i try explaining i went bonkers IN the forces so they dont need to worry about me murdering them when i go postal????? On a serious note despite anti-discimination legislation the reality is a lot of employers are still prejudiced. Ive already been advised if i had my mental illness considered a disability then i would probably be working as "recorded" disabilities are needed in the workplace to appear good for diversity. Mental health is the hidden disability in many cases as its not considered that serious by docs yet can be by potential employers.

I know chip and thats business.... but maybe if business's were more in tune to the reality of mental illness rather than the stereotypes it wouldnt be such a problem. At the moment the only changes in the workplace i need is time off during working hours once a month for psych visit. most counselors do evening slots if you pay them and my surgery does evening slots too. And im considered to have a moderate illness. the average person with depression will only need understanding.
I just find it sad that in this modern society i need to seriously consider pushing to be considered disabled as according to the work advisor, a big company would almost certainly then take me on in a disabled employment scheme as they would know i need very few adjustments compared to some more severly disabled people.
I dont agree with this though as i dont consider myself disabled, merely long term ill which is recoverable.

if I missed my credit card payment for 9 months it would cost me £315 plus interest so I don't think Lee is out of order, but Radders seems a top chap aswell on the forum so its a shame it has came to this. Hope it gets sorted and everyones happy

actually very true and very funny! WHY should Lee have to chase radleigh for this money in the first place? How come, on these 'name and shame' threads, the accused rarely actually show up to defend themselves? shows who really has the balls doesn't it...
As an impartial observer (seeing as I dont know any of you on here) it is apparent that some people just want to shoot Porkie down in flames for lending out the money, then taking this approach with the public shaming etc etc, what people dont seem to see is that it is the PRINCIPLE of the matter, whether it is £20 or £20,000, that is irrespective. IT IS HIS MONEY AND HE DESERVES IT BACK!
He has stated that he has been down all other avenues in order to try to recover his money first.
The fact is that he HAS ben mugged off, and he shouldnt have to go driving around to get his cash back. It really fucks me off that there can be so many honest, decent people around, than there are cunts who have no respect for other people that pull tricks like this.
There are companies on the internet and the high street that will lend anyone an amount up to about 1k (albeit on a silly interest rate) with no credit checks etc. This is a last reach option, but seeing as this has gone on for so long, this should be the option taken in order to pay Porkie off.
People generally dont fuck their debtors off (ie mortgage, credit card, bills etc) so why is it such a common thing that people who have an emotional attachment (actually know the person) to the cash advance, still fuck them around??
