How come, on these 'name and shame' threads, the accused rarely actually show up to defend themselves? shows who really has the balls doesn't it...
As an impartial observer (seeing as I dont know any of you on here) it is apparent that some people just want to shoot Porkie down in flames for lending out the money, then taking this approach with the public shaming etc etc, what people dont seem to see is that it is the PRINCIPLE of the matter, whether it is Ł20 or Ł20,000, that is irrespective. He has stated that he has been down all other avenues in order to try to recover his money first.
The fact is that he HAS ben mugged off, and he shouldnt have to go driving around to get his cash back. It really fucks me off that there can be so many honest, decent people around, than there are cunts who have no respect for other people that pull tricks like this.
There are companies on the internet and the high street that will lend anyone an amount up to about 1k (albeit on a silly interest rate) with no credit checks etc. This is a last reach option, but seeing as this has gone on for so long, this should be the option taken in order to pay Porkie off.
People generally dont fuck their debtors off (ie mortgage, credit card, bills etc) so why is it such a common thing that people who have an emotional attachment (actually know the person) to the cash advance, still fuck them around??

I can sympathise with Lee here, I too have lent money out (never 30k thou frankly!) and ended up having to chase it up. Its a shame and it should just come back without asking, but not always the case. Thing is I have and will do it again, if someone I know is in need and I can help I try my best. My problem is the other way around, if I borrow money I am shite at giving it back, I just kinda forget, then remember and feel like a twat paying it back late! So I dont borrow fuck all now.
