If Radders sent lee a text every couple of months saying "sorry mate, im on the case with looking for a job, and once ive got one I'll pay you back" then Lee would have done precisely fuck all and just sat there thinking "at least Radders respects me enough to keep me in the loop"

if i was due a friend money the first thing i would do with any money i had was start paying off the debt. if for any reason i could not repay the debt, i would tell them i was having trouble paying, not wait untill i was shamed into paying it

porkie mate, i can relate to this in a way, you seem a genuine bloke, happy to help and look for the good in people. done it myself, but sometimes trust the wrong people although im getting wiser now with who i lend money to, you begin to learn whos good for paying you back and is genuine. I find people who are always out getting pissed and on frugs etc are never good for paying back as they prioritise their habbits 1st

I didnt have to go and "pay a visit" to Rob to get back the couple of K I lent him, he is man enough to take responsibility for his commitments and so should Radders be!

Lee did radders a big favour, NOT the other way around, so its up to Radders to take responsiblity for the repayment of that amount of money, makes fuck all difference if Lee is a mate of mine or not, as Id say the same if it was the other way around, in fact I am doing, as Radders is a mate of mine too!

Why the fuck after Lee has done Radders a favour should it be Lee who is then inconvenienced driving all over the country?

This thread is VERY interesting IMHO as it instantly shows up who has got any sort of moral fibre or not with regards to how friends should treat each other.

Westy seems to think if he mugs someone off continually for 9 months, that its then that person at fault not him and that person should be driving around chasing him up, what a grade A pisstaking CUNT frankly.
your idea of "bumlicking" someone appears to be when someone treats a decent person with a modicum of respect, and your idea of acceptable behaviour is to mug the same person off endlessly then make THEM do all the hard work to make up for the massive shortfalls in your personality.

i borrowed 12k from a friend about six years ago, it was either borrow money or sleep on the street,
Was agreed i would pay back 1k a month, some months i had no money left to pay it,
So i would pick up the phone and say, hi paul im sorry got no money this month, deffo have it next month,
It was enough i respected him to pick up the phone and let him know. all was settled up in 14 months

i dont know either, but a text or phone call a month letting you know would not go a miss.
