Totally ruined by the fact they dubbed a ferrari or something onto the 406 
Would be #1 best car chase if it wasn't for that. Bullett still king as it's the most realistic.

i watched bullett last night (first time watch the WHOLE film)
and was let down byt the chase,
it was sped up
the engine noise didn't correspond to the actual driving
the ronin chase is much better
though i really like the first 5 mins of war of the world (think thats the film, GT40 scene with will smith)

i think ur wrong there my friend, there was a program on steve mcqueen the other day and they talked about the car chase the director said that originally they wanted to speed it up but mcqueen said no and that it should be shot in real time so it was, also mcqueen did some of the driving, the scene where the motorbike gets laid down on the road mcqueen files past it and 180's the car they also were hitting speeds of 120mph in places

trust me one part WAS sped up
i'll argue until i'm blue in the face,
not all the racing was, but just as they start it was,
unless of course my PS3 had a hissy fit at that given moment...pmsl

it was a le mans gt40 that was dubbed over the mustang,hence all the gear change noises etc. think the only bit that was sped up was when he reverses with the wheels spinning and the axle tramp?

i love cannonball run 1 & 2 just for the lambos and burt reynolds of course cannonball is up there with smokey and the bandit 1 & 2 (forget 3) and stroker ace
