Had my 2,8 capri 3 days and already blown a diff!!!! anyone got one??? lol
yep thats right bought my 1983 2,8i capri 3 days ago practised left foot braking, lil bit of drifting, and having it sideways for couple of days
then today fully serivced it, took my m8 out, did a rolling burnout just as i left my road and 'bang' gose the diff!!!! worth every second!!! lol
So i need a new diff has anyone got one?? obviously got to be in good condition, tickover say they have one but they want to sell the whole rear axle

yer most of the diffs are like rocking horse shit let alone lsd ones lol, will probably try and repair it, good fun though its my first RWD from driving rs turbos the last 6months, what a change i love it!!! lol

lol good i dea but its my every day car so no good trying to drive round corners hahaha
looks like i have stripped aload of teeth of the main pinion from the prop shaft and i have oblitorated another cog aswell lol!!!!! i need a diff or a full rear axle ASAP lol

I have a mate based in b'mth who deals with capris, escorts ect. Im sure he has a couple of lsd's, can find out if you like would prob be in the £300-£400 area .

cheers for all the help lads much appreciated, i have spoken to tickover a capri specialists in bexleyheath not far from me and they have a whole 2,8i rear axle for £140 in full working order, so said i would have it and iam going over tommorow at about 4pm and should have it fitted by about 9pm so watch out streets (or should i say pavments) of bromley and biggin hill!!!! haha thanks any ways guy i will take down some notes from this for when i break this one lol
