i know there both not ideal ecus but im just about to start my mk2 zetec on throttle bodies and want to try one of these ecus whats the easiest to setup or tune!

i like the fact megasquirt you start from scratch but is it hard or fairly simple to follow up?
and also were the cheapest place to get these?

Megajolt is spark only, so you wont get very far with that. I wouldn't go to the 'cheapest' place, as in the long term it may work out the most expensive

www.extraefi.co.uk is the place to go..

I have to agree have delt with a couple of places for megasquirt bits and the one above is by far the best

i used m-tech ive not beed told that they are not a real company or somthing like that and not to go near them but i bort a megasquirt off of good old ebay and i could not get it to work so i rang them up and the bloke told me to sent it down so i did he then said its one he build over 2 years ago and fixed it for free he then looded a base map on it and launch control gave me an updated softwair disk and posted it back and only charged me £50 for the launch control.
nice bloke i think his name was chuzzy?????

Despite trying to KILL me yesterday(which no doubt some would thank you for) after nearly dropping a bonnet on my head, I say you would be far better off using one map of you emerald for the zetec another for the cossie, and you still have one spare.
I(myself) can do you a loom for the zetec for cost it will be well under £50.
You can of course use the third map as a "experiment" map that you do, if you wish to see just how much better it is when done on a RR.

Even I managed to deal with the emerald, and I seriously am crap on the computer side of things, so it must be easy, even managed to load all the software and drivers for new cable on me own.
