Default megajolt management on a zetec

Hey guys, I'v been looking at some some options to get round my zetec into a mk4 escort conversion. I'v got a mondeo black top "zetec e" from a t reg as you all know it has pats.
So if I have to mess with a customised loom and new ecu I thought I'd be just as well going down the megajolt route.

The ultimate goal is to have a 2.1 zetec turbo but for now I'm going to run it 2.1 with headwork and do the turbo part when funds allow.

So can I use the megajolt on the engine and is it mappable (could I take it to a dyno and let them configure it to run at it's optimum?)

I had a look at autosportlabs site and it seems rather easy in principle
a megajolt ecu, a coilpack, edis 4 module, and a trigger wheel? Is it really that easy????

hi mate, I am running megajolt on my mk2 fiesta with a blacktop zetec on 45 dcoes. It is fairly easy to fit, a lot of information on the cd they send you but you just need to get the info you need and its easy,

The megajolt is mappable and any dyno can set it up for its best, a lot of people say use more expensive system. I always think why use a more expensive alternative when this system works well.

The only thing I would say is check the application when running turbo set up

nothing wrong with megajolt, but it seems if you are planning to go injection later, then may as well get megasquirt and don't hook up the fuel side of things for now.
will save money in the long run, especially since the dollar is down at the moment.
