Can anyone let me know if this phone can be used at home via my home sky wireless connection ?

I have sky wireless set up at home now, and wanted to know if i could tap the phone into this to browse on the phone using the sky home wireless connection. ? Is this possiable ? Can it be done ?

does the pearl have wifi?

if so yes, turn the wifi on the pearl on and conect to your sky router, enter your wep key if thats switched on

Not sure if this phone has the wifi ? may have been the next phone up ? I cant find anything on the net to say if the 8100 pearl has wifi ?

wifis not software, its hadware built into the phone, like bluetooth

No wifi on the Pearl. You can get an blackberry add on for Ł10 per month (depending on contract I s'pose) Which gives you internet access (as well as all your emails ) Cant say I'm that overly impressed with in myself. I have had one for a few months now and miss the fact that there's no wifi, also that I cant link it to my laptop and use it as a modem, which I thought would have been 2 of the standard options. Oh well only another 15 months left on the contract !

Have you noticed the paint is coming off ? Mine has all started wearing away on the top of my Pearl, and the volume buttons have worn through to the plastic (whereas they should by a silvery colour !) not impressed with that either

Mine still has the plastic protective cover on. Only had it a few days. I do like the look and the lay out of the phone. Not sure i like it as much as the iphone i sold to get the pearl.
