I've done a few track days now and wondered do I need to fit a baffled sump?
Or when do you need to fit one?
Just im thinking of buying a set of slicks

already!
With slicks you want baffled and a big wing sump in my opinion.
I didn't have a bigwing on Sierra and did the crank at the famous Gerrards corner at Mallory...

R888's much less hassle.... and you can use them on the road as well. Slicks are VERY hard on the car.
bodyshell, hubs, suspension etc etc
but FUCK me they grip!!!!
You want a baffled sump even for road tyres for track use in my opinion!
