Default approx price for a lean too double brick built garage?

just thought i'd ask on here as i can imagine a few of u lot have had them built!

also, i'm tempted to built it myself. yeah, i know it'd take 10x as long, but that doesnt bother me tbh, as im always up for a big project and it'll be a change from building cars all the time!

would have help from my dad and gf's dad too as well as uncles etc!

anyone built their own garage?

I did wonder, because you had a -lot- of stuff there...

You need a bunch of kitchen units along that whole side mate

By lean to i take it you mean front, side and rear using the house gable as the other side?

Double brick walls, lean to roof, up and over door etc?

If you said 6m long X 3m wide you would be looking at around

Compacted hardcore base 8inch deep £200
concrete slab 6inch thick £300
3000 bricks approx £1000
3 tonnes sand approx £90 if bagged
25 bags cement £70
Roof timbers approx £300
Roof tiles, lats, felt approx £500
Up and over door £500
Electrics and misc £500

all plus labour.

My brothers finishing off a 22' long x 15' wide garage so it's about the width of 1.5 garages if you get my drift, but a good length.

Recons it cost about £7k all in.

Thats doing everything himself bar laying the bricks.
