Default Itunes Trouble

Is there another software that i could use other than itunes for loading music on to my ipod??

I have tried loading itunes onto my external hard drive but it keeps adding files to my C drive aswell and then when i add music it goes to the C drive aswell so i am running out of space

or is there some setting to stop the files going on to my C drive

Thanks Brian

There are LOADS....

Windows Media Player (3rd party plugin needed - search MGTEK DOPISP on google)
Songbird
Sharepod
Yamipod
Floola

Or just search ITUNES ALTERNATIVE on google

You can change the default location for your music files to the external drive. ITunes is best left on the C: drive.

In iTunes, select from the menu:

EDIT>Preferences

Then click the Advanced Tab, at the top CHANGE the iTunes Music Folder Location.

Brian
you dont neccessarily have to run itunes on your external just because your music is stored there, it will still run ok regardless once you have selected the right file path as mentioned above
