my head gasket went on my s2 the other day had to borrow a seat corboda, i got turbo with Withdrawal symptoms so had to get it done
cud be worse my boss has got a rs500 which runs pefect and has done bout 2 miles in 6years. its tax, tested and insured every year to

 

Cossie has been sitting still for over 3 weeks now with broken diff! So so frustrating! Especially as it got nicked last week (and returned!).

Bought a new diff today though so should be running this week

 

Mine is off the road too (see siggy link)

Im taking my engine out this week ready for the bay to be painted and also Im gonna do a rebuild too so shes all fresh when shes back on the road, probably next year now


If you get stuck for a hoist mate giz a shout, I should be able to get hold of one and Ill even bring it up in my van and Ill happily give you a hand to take it out too

 

mine too i propper killed the engine
so i am striping it to trak it cage buckets the lot
have a look at whot i done to the block in restorations (my cossie tracke build)

Hope you get it sorted out soon mate, although glass is a pain in the c*nt as you'll never manage to clear up all the bits, you'll be finding bits in the car for years!

 

gutted proberly a understatment mate.spent almost 5k on engine,gearbox etc on my series1 over the past six months.only for the sump gasket to let go sunday morning on the way to national day!car has`nt made it to any show this year and had to cancal 4 trackdays so very pissed off with it all at the minute

 

Mine's off the road, and even though I know it'll be running again soon, I'm still down in the dumps.

 

my orion is nearly finished, but its so hard to find the enthusiasm. its oly been off the road for 3 months.

the only reason i want it finished is cos the scrap men keep knocking the door about it

 

i just started putting my saph back on the road. now decided to break it
