Default Cars towing caravans/trailers and the speed limit

According to Highway Code, it states that:

Cars towing caravans or trailers:

Single carriage-ways - 50mph
Dual carriage-ways - 60mph
Motorways - 60mph

So how come I've seen loads of them doing more than 80mph??

You've also seen loads of cars doing 100+ and the limit is max 70 anywhere.

Yes, but I was merly refering to towing something that should follow the speed limit for a reason.

Of course I should explain why I posted this is because on the other day, I saw a Volvo going about 80mph, overtaking me with the trailer bouncing about with a lawnmower on it!

Earlier in works lorry overtook a caravan on narrow 2 lane dual carriageway, it was tight as it was, then looked in mirror to see it drifting over the white line, then swerving back
Bloody things, I wouldn't like to go too fast with one on the back, not the most stable of things.

People not towing anything should also follow the speed limit for the same reason - the government believes going above that speed can be dangerous.

I see your point, I often see caravans doing 70 and I wouldn't do that in a million years. They're foolish. But then there's the cyclists/bikers who go down the wrong side of the road to filter through traffic and people who use the right/left turn lane to go strauight on and just rag it past the front of the queue and pull in...

There are lots of muppets on the road.
