Default off duty coppers.... do they...

wear a full uniform when driving to and from work etc?

as in stab proof, and radios etc????

as if not i was very lucky today

was driving along the motorway, and wasnt hanging about as had a lot on today so was doing between 90-95, and when i joined the motorway a red vectra did too.

now i wasnt driving like a cunt, just a bit quick in the van lol. i was moving over etc when a gap allowed but the vectra never went past me.

i then came into a 50 limit as there were road works, so moved to the inside lane and slowed down. at which point my work phone rang... yeah you guessed it

being a silly cunt i answered it. just as this vectra pulled along side, i look over and see a copper in his gear, the look on his face when he realised that not only was i almost doing a ton, im now on the phone too

my arsehole bit the seat, i said oh fuck, and immediatly put the phone down.

he then started pointing over to the left, as a junction was approaching and got behind me. now, i was wanting to go straight on, didnt see any blues come on, and he moved over to the exit, but i didnt

he then undertakes me on the slip road giving me the evils, i put up my hand and say sorry....

now, i was still in the 50 limit and he could have quite easily rejoined off the roundabout and got out the ky jelly, but he didnt, and i didnt see him again.

so, am i

A. very lucky and he was off duty?

B. hoping he was on his way to a more worthwhile job?

C. expecting a knock on the door any second?

i think C lol

i have also now asked work for a hands free kit, they said they will look into it.....

I think you should do a pre-emptive strike and lube yourself up beforehand, they may only use four fingers instead of the entire fist!
Oh, and it cost me Ł109 to fill my vw transporter the other week, did i beat your record?

last week my mate was kicked in the head in the street by an off duty pig and fractured his cheek bone in 2 places, so if you just get 3 points, think yourself lucky.

Something tells me this is just someone fucking with you to be honest.

"Someone I know" works in a prison and reguarly laughs at people who overtake him in his vectra spot his prison uniform then slow down to a crawl, he'll then get alongside and do the waggle of the finger...

Doesnt need to be on camera mate. My mate was reported by a member of the public for being on his phone. No other witnesses just the word of one old bloke. Anyway, after several visits from the police, 6 months, a court appearance, a not guilty plea, and yet another court date set, its still on going.

set your phone to auto answer, get one of them in your ear walkie talkie jobbies, you answered the phone to tell them to call you back when you stopped driving, job jobbed

he didn't have anything on you otherwise he owuld have pulled you there and then

probably pissed off that he could slow everyone else down with his uniformed finger wagging

but to be honest, you were goin faster than the posted limit
then you were on the phone when he spotted you
take it as a sign not to be so risky for the next few years

i overtook a police officer on his way to work, was in a 50 and probably hit 80/85 but was straight road no traffic. Thsi was at about 10pm, 11pm my house phone rang, abit supprised at the time i answered and it was the copper! I kind of admitted i may have been speeding as i was abit shocked. He said either i take a section 59 or i will recieve a letter to pop in for a "chat". I said the section 59 would do. didn;t hear nothing more about it not sure if i even got a 59 over it tbh.

a section 59 is where a Vehicles used in manner causing alarm, distress or annoyance. basically it lasts a year, get a second in the one year and they take your car, you can pay the charge and storage per day/ costa bout Ł150 i think to get it back, if you don;t collect they sell or crush it. Not sure what happens if you keep getting them, but seems pointless to me as you can get the car back the next day if you got the cash.

section 59 is usually given out to ped boiz for wheelying/riding on pavements and generally being cunts. Can be given to cars aswell. Basically a warning to stop it, if your handed a section 59 again your vehicle will be crushed.

Way round it is to sell your car to your dad for free, and as soon as the logbook come back he conviniently (sp) sells it back to you for nothing, and the section 59 disappears

You do not and should not stop for unmarked police cars, even with BLUE LIGHTS, you are NOT breaking the law in not stopping either, they have to get a fully marked police vehicle to do the stop, this is because people fear stopping for dodgy people pretending to be cops.
I came across a lady on her phone as we both stopped alongside each other at some lights, so I shouted "either put that phone down or I'll nick you", she looked embarrased and put the phone down, had me 11 year old with me too,!

doubt they can do you in their own cars as there off duty and to prove it there needs to be 2 coppers if they not got any video or photographic evidence.

i had a similar thing a few years back. did a u-turn legally but as it was a 40mph road i shot off like a bat out of hell (in a 205 diesel) anyway get about 500 yrds up the road and stop at a set of lights. theres this dick in an unmarked car flashing a badge at me. unwind the window to him saying he has me on camera doing 90mph (previously in this car i had to drive about 5 miles in a straight line to get to that speed so someone obviously stuck some nos in whilst i werent looking LOL) and the fact i could not see a camera anywhere in the car made me smile so did the only thing i could really as didnt know much about what could actually happen... "sorry officer wont happen again officer" and he fucked off.

also had a tug for a copper saying i drove past him a bit "loud" so i must have been speeding asking me if i'd "like to lose my licence" it makes you mad that these cunts can tug you when they actually have no idea what speed your doing and you have to just bite your lip and make them feel important.

Is that really true? Where did you read that?

Surely if it's got "POLICE" in red in the back window like alot of them do then it's technically marked.
