Lol,
Lozi, yes mate, i had a 1.3 Astra about a million years ago..
To be fair, the Mak was probably the best looking car i've had, the 22b was a second close cus of it's wide arches etc..
Wish i'd go all the money in the bank though lozi..

Like watching Duran Duran on MTV..
Seriously, i love the saff mate, i'm 42 now and grew up with RS cars and have always loved the cosworth brand.
The Evos etc are stupidly capable cars and rewarding to an extent, by that i mean they make you feel a good driver if you get me..where as i feel a cossie is raw and unpredictable and you have to be on the ball almost everytime you're out in it which is WHY i always come back to them i think..

i am yet to go in a proper quick cossie, the quickest i have had a ride in was a stage 3 when i was about 15 so tbh i still dont know how mental they are but i keep hearing people say exactly what you have just said.
im worried that when i do go in a fast one it will make me want to urgently spend money i dont have gettin my standard one properly shifting lol

As with any car, condition is the main thing, low miles doesn't mean it's in good nick.
I saw loads of dogs priced around the same price as mine.
Generally speaking though Red ones are worth more.
I'd expect any below Ł10k to be a little rough around the edges.

A well setup Stage 3 cossie isn't slow though imo.. mines 379 atw on a T38 Turbo, doesn't come on boost til around 3800 but man when it does it kicks well and pulls like fook.. only thing i'd like to change is a more responsive turbo, like a T34 but with GT30 power.. like a GT3071 ..

My stage3 3dr Karl Norris did running 360bhp with similar lb/ft was fantastic, peaked @ 32 psi holding 29 and it was on the money all the time, good early boost etc, i miss that sometimes..

I am buying an Evo 6 at the back end of the year, the right car in good condition should always fetch good money in my mind, l have a very low mile one in mind, thats been kept in a garage for some time
Great cars , if it was not for the spec of this one l would be buying a Red TME they look awsome
Mike
