Hopefully some of you folks might be able to shed some light on this for me.![Big Grin](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)
Mate of mine has a 3dr running a T34.48 Which was dynod @ 361bhp/353lb/ft now he told me tonight he timed himself to 0-100mph in under 10secs with so called proper timing gear, i'm not knocking him at all, BUT would it do this time even with a good launch??
seems quick to me..![Confused](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_confused.gif)
Mind you, didn't TIB do some silly times with his T34 car once??

Sub 10 is poss so long as your going for a 0-100 run... ie hold 3rd to the limiter,
The problem with a T34 is it starts to run out of puff late in the gear and most people change to 4th before 100mph so having an extra gear change in the 0-100 time.
I did get my saph into the 8's but it was running a little bit of gas at the time.

and mine did around 110-115 in 3rd, so staying in 3rd would be the obvious choice.
maybe you did becuase you on different gearing??? 3.9 or something?
my stage 1 at pod did 14secs to 100

I had a T34.63 and did it in 8.9 seconds.*
But it was in a fwd
with open diff though.

Also like some1 else said, 100 on the speed is probably only 94 or something, the extra 6mph you do in 4th takes an age.
When i was having mine timed i was making sure it stopped spinning and hit the limiter in second, but it only did 58mph in second, (said 63 on the clocks)

Here's what should be possible in theory.
Brearing in mind the 0-100 is for the slower gear change run, not the drag run.

Mark Syers 2wd Saff with a 400bhp MAD engine did 0-100 in 10.2 secs. This was a few years back. Mine was recorded at a Daddy Thrash 0-100 in 8.1 sec on my old 500bhp engine.
