Exclamation FRST alternator charging problem

rght bit of a tiny problem with the fiesta happened tonight, i had to bump start the car

all was running fine, i managed to source a 90amp alternator so i thought hey why not, its more powerfull, so i took the old 70amp unit off tried the 90amp on but its a little big as it gets in the way of my oil return to the sump. so i put the 70amp unit back on the car.

now i realise you have to disconnect the battery because of alarm and shocking yourself. so i put the battery back on and noticed when i turn ignition on i dont get the battery light on the dash on??? and now the car wont charge the battery now? so im asking may i of blown a fuse somewhere???

Check the wiring between the alternator and the starter motor is not broken, my xr2i did this and wouldn't charge!
