Default difference between pipercross filters

Would anyone be able to tell me what the difference is between a standard pipercross induction kit and a vector induction kit?
I've had a look on the website and doesnt actually say.

Its just that where I work (halfords) it lists a normal one and a vector, and the vector is only 9 quid more, so just wondering if it would be worth it.

I know the viper is the fully enclosed one btw just incase you thought I was getting confused

Cheers

Don't take this the wrong way, but if you're selling them you should really know what they are! Maybe ask your boss to get you on some product training? Having untrained staff is what pisses people off the most about Halfords. I've had a nightmare with a mountain bike and fucking useless untrained staff - I'll NEVER go there again for anything bike related.

The Vector is their foam filter with the foam shaped in a 'special' way.

no one seems to know. We thought about it logically and it could be that the cold air pipe is chucked in. Also its the first time I'd even heard of a vector (same with everyone at our store - not obviously well know) ans as it's an order in only part that isnt ordered that often its not something we'd need to know about on a regular basis.

To be fair I know most stuff about most things (bar bikehut) but sadly as I only work part time I cannot learn about ever aspect of the store and every product we sell. (Can anyone) And also our bikehut team at my store IMO are one of the most knowledgable bunch on bikes I've seen. Probably why we sell in excess of 30-40 odd bikes a week and its not a massive store. Delivery guys always comment on how many bikes we recieve, and we must be selling them for the need to be redelivered each week

What, £8 extra for a Vector? All the foam ones are pretty similar to be honest.
