I think they only get prosecuted when the 'prostitute' is a police officer. Had a mate that used to do it. She had to stand on the street waiting for punters to come up. They have to actually ask for sex. If they aren't clear they don't get nicked. Although, she once got asked "How much for dry anal no bag"

FYI Prostitution is actually legal in the UK. Well the actual act of selling your body for sex is. And this is before we get into the pros and cons of marriage

Its nearly everything else that goes with it. Brothel keeping, unpaid taxes, Kerb Crawling, Soliciting and so on. I saw a bit of the WI programe and tbh it makes some sense. Make it all above board, collect taxes on it. Give the Ho's security so they dont get robbed. Give them regualr STD checks. etc etc etc.

Good money in it though. One of those American girls earnt $250K!!
