3dr miss firing

hi lads iv just rebilt my motor and got it running for the first time in 8 months i now i have get to have it all set up at MSD as it has blues in at the mo and a T3 but it will need to go onto greens and a T34 as i will be looking for about 350bhp . the ECU is a L1 so im told and the chip ????? the car came to me with grays and the T3 wich is well rong . wot i need to no is wot ever ECU and injecters are in the car should this make the motor have a mis fire up to about 5000 then clear well sort of it seams to be holding back and if you try to go round the block its got no power and is stutering as if its running on 3 but we have put 2 lots of plugs in it and we have turnd the motor over with all the plugs on the rocker cover and they all spark . its got NEW leads NEW cap NEW roter arm NEW faze censer and all the timing looks spot on . faze censer is at .3 crank .75 and its got 10dar on all silinders on conpreshon test any forts to wot it might be it all so has a 4x4 inlet manifold on it with a 2wd frotel body on it
one of the things we have fort about doing is my mate has a escort cos set on greens dose any one think it would be OK to pull all his stuff off his car and put on my 3dr to try and find out wot is rong with it YES/NO

Think I've seen your build in resto section (white 3 door?) and its mint. Fair play you've done it all, but take it to a tuner now. You don't want to fall at the last hurdle.

right my mate and i have sorted it out tonight and im over the moon its the chip in the ECU its fucked . we put his escort ECU on which is a L8 set up for greens . we left my grays in and it worked well lets put it this way we had the wheels spin at the bottom of the drive and round the block it drove spot on ![Big Grin](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

trust me mate it did the fuel presher was not that hi but it got rid of the mis fire and it got the car out of the garage on tick and put 2 black lines on the drive way that will do me . my mates ECU is now of the car and my old one is back on just so i can move it . SO now im on the look out for a chip to put in my ECU that will run blues and a T3 just till october when i get marid then its going on greens and having a T34 to get the 350 i wont from it can any one help me

ok lets clear this up.. your on dark blues now? with a chip thats not for the injectors? you want to go for greens and a t34?
so why not just get a t34 bolt it on, get stu at msd to program you a chip to your spec and then you can move it and go and get it setup?

Yes good option i agree, but theres a problem........ getting married soon and the car is the wedding car!! So hence why i need it just road worthy at the minute........ once wedding is sorted i'll have the funds to throw at the car too get it sorted!!!
