My mate had one a few years ago, it was built for the then md of TVR when new it supposedly had the body shaved all over to save weight. Could be seller bullshit though. Was in a one off white with a putrid sage green interior! Came with a slip from brunters showing a top speed run of 211mph! Awesome car simply awesome! Never had charge in the battery so took 20mins to get in without door handles. used nearly a tenner back then of petrol just warming up before you could go anywhere.
myth is that they start going wrong over 35k so they all get off loaded after that, no reason why they should be any worse than most as long as they're maintained properly.

Just some idea of cost £90 to change a headlamp bulb! £1k plus for a clutch (iirc)
Still that sound and smell of glue is all worth it.

Best looking TVR ever made IMO.

My mate has one with the Hayward and Scott system too. Its SO loud but sounds awesome.

DONT BE THINKING YOUR DOING ANY TRACKDAYS!!!

My mates trips the sound meters at most tracks from about 10 miles away!!!!

So what your saying is, its a bit like trying to push a marshmallow into a buttonhole

Enjoy, lovely looking car and one of the best sounding cars around without a doubt

I'm guessing it's much quicker than a stg 3 cossie.

My M5 is about the same performance as a stage 3 cossie, and I know a TVR Cerbie will slaughter my M5.

Great looking car and pretty much every one I've heard sounds awesome.

Considered a 4.5 Cerbera when I got my Evo, but now having done 10k miles of mainly thrashing to and from and on the tracks, I know I made the right choice.

As a poser car, as a weekend toy, as something 99% of petrol heads would love to own or drive at some point, the TVR deffo has it!

Awesome looking piece of kit, and yours looks a good example

awesome car,but not for me,i extensively looked into getting the tuscan,i got mixed views.I then phoned a local to me tvr service centre, they said do not buy a tvr simple as,or if you do make sure its done more than 12k and had a new engine

...maybe your tvr has a different engine but they said avoid the tvr own built engine of that era.

not a negative post just posting what i was told,i understand you can get reliable ones its like anything only the people pissed off speak out and the garages only see the rubbish ones....but i still decieded to leave them alone.

It is a lot different to a stage 3 cosworth,i would say about the same as my old 3 door on greys and .63 T34 with 380bhp and 400 ft-lb which makes sense,as this is around 360bhp and 350 ft-lb but only weighs 1050kg

Probably the speed six engine as these did have problems...This car has the Ajp V8 and the engines are very good

They are quicker and handling is better but are harder to drive...Tvr's idea of traction control is a very long throttle pedal travel and it takes getting used to. In my favoured seating position, the clutch and brake is ok but struggle to put the throttle fully down so i am looking into ways of shortening the travel
