Theres a fiesta one too, and fiestas with saloon boots.
The foreigners get all the cool stuff.
It'd be easy to convert a cabby though, as they already have the tough sills.

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
There was a MK4 escort type one of these pick ups, for sale in a car yard not far from me a couple of months ago, was going to go and check it out. In OZ. think they come from South Africa. Defo not from OZ.

Wow thank u UK people for taking such good care of the Bantams that managed to end up there. Some of these might've been mine before, who knows?
In South Africa thesen were the mk1 & mk2 & we have just ended the mk6 version here. Because they're old, South Africans dont appreciate them much & they end up as farmworkers or the last choice of building contractors when they have their new shiny pick up's serviced. Most of them get sold to us FBOC because we are the authority on the Ford Bantam. We have about 1000 of them stored in various garages around the country. If anybody is interested in getting their hands on them, well probably contact us or better yet, contact Passion Ford to contact us for fear that they may not allow this reply to be seen, as it seems to sound like a sales thing. I promise u its not! South Africa is just not very good at appreciating good classics, & because i , Lloyd Oliver, the founder of FBOC, have always loved the old mk1 & mk2 Bantam, i would love to have them placed in the hands of enthusiasts again. I follow everything u UK folks do with the old Fords, via the various magazines like Passion Ford. I'm an avid enthusiast concerning UK Ford Lovers. So yep if anyone wants one just ask Passion Ford to organize it with us.

It's got matching door cards and a nice flocked dash to go in too!
There's more pics on my Facebook page if you want to take a peek... https://en-gb.facebook.com/pg/Frenzy...=page_internal
It has indeed got the pull out handbrake
Will be a real head turner for sure when it's finished, should also have around 300bhp to play with too.

i shipped one in once and sold it on, don't know what ever happened to it, might even be the blue one, it was definitely a mk3 escort shape, here's a pic of it as it was when i shipped it in.

I didn't personally do it (bodywork is not my area) but I think it's just that they fit well and were painted on the car as it was painted so looks very smooth.
I'll have a closer inspection when I'm in, it's mostly sat under a car cover whilst I build the engine etc. at the moment.
