F18 with a hydraulic clutch was the early Vectra box mk1 pre 99 and early mk2. Don’t be fooled into buying an early F18 box either from a cav or astra as they are cable clutch
Later boxes do vary and may poss be a Gartrac box of some sort? CC dependent
Not sure what number that might be tho
F23?
F25?

Depends on the engine size, the diiferent size blocks use different gearbox's

If you look on top of the gearbox next to the gear linkage there will be the ID for it, pretty convinced it should be an F23 gearbox!

Good luck mate

Its a 1.8 Vectra with hydraulic clutch AFAIK I have only lifted the bonnet once since I have owned it

Lost 5th gear which seems to have jammed it in 4th and now it wont come out of it either.

Im not phased by changing it, just need to know what to get. I suppose I will have to lift the bonnet again now

All these F numbers, don't make it a simple job do they
