I am extremely fussy about who gets to work on my car and Martin is one of those few that the car / keys get left with when-ever the car needs to go to him for any work. I have had no issues what-so-ever with Martin and his work / trustworthiness when it comes to working on cars

This is despite his original race fuel cheating ways when we first met

Plus cars are always repeatedly back at Martins for further tuning and upgrading work!
Cars are repeatedly at EA for repair work from their original bodge....and charged for it!!

EA are shocking to be honest, id heard about them, but never thought it was this bad....

Not yet Neil its still in the garage! Jas said it sounded exactly the same problem as yours had, sorry to hear about the Ecos giving you grief too. He's in Birmingham today, was a 5 o'clock start and he was out Tuesday night (I went horse riding otherwise I could've been nice and done it for him), hopefully give it a try Friday night, then I'll tax it Saturday and we'll give it a run - does sound like the same problem as yours had

when i heard that lee had sold his 3 door for the price that he did, i was disappointed that it was not advertised as i would have seriously considered buying it. however, there woud have been a niggle in the back of my mind about the provenance of the shell and/or parts of it as i had heard rumours about martin's past.
i am sure that those rumours are false and i hope that martin does make that post to clear up his history so that we can see how trivial (and perhaps forgiveable) that it is, and i am also equally sure that lee and renton would have nothing knowingly to do with any criminal activity relating to their car and that the 3 door is entirely legitimate.
i hope that this post is not seen in any way as stirring, just the independant thoughts and experiences of someone in the scene that may go some way to clearing up the past for a better future for martin/reyland and the whole ford scene
