ive just baught a touch screen phone, lg viewty 990, but im already finding it loosing its sensitivity and its only 2 months old. Different company, but lad at work says his touch screen is the same. Roll on insurance claim:

the screen icons look a tad like out of focus if that makes sense but ONLY when close up. Other than that its fine. I havnt as yet used the camera. Ill try it tomorrow and get some pics up.
My only thing i will say is, is that its being advertised as suporters to the olympics and if its bad they will get slaughtered and lose a lot of sales. So for me so far so good. I love it. really different to use for texting on a screen as opposed to buttons,
The cover case is very lush also. I wouldnet recommend the phone if your are a labourer ie builder, carpenter etc, but pose wise its very good,

I can still get it for free in a phone call on my current contract, just decided to wait for something better but still a little unsure!
I work on cars a lot so was worried about damagaing it too
Whats it like for texting then? As i text a lot and was also put off when I saw it didnt have a proper key board lay out.

You know what it can be like at times, using the buttons, ya fingers can get numb or feel worn, but beacuse on this phone its a touch screen you dont have to press hard and tbh its a lot QUICKER than normal phones.
Of subject slghtly here- all pcs within next few years will be like this. HP already have a touch screen pc out on sale NOW so it wiullbe avery common feature soon for us all to adjust.
On top of that i can foresee tv remote controls having the same technology amd stuff.

I too text a lot. I mean a lot mainly to people I know off here and my own site rs-mania. I asked the shop if i could use a real one to try it. ( I was there 3 hours today lol) I wanted the Samsung soul but sits very very slow to use and load up.

i just got a touch screen mobile off ebay for 100 plus pounds great fone great camera i love texting on the touch screen phones much easer that the buttons will not go back not
they are testing laptop tablets that are all touch screen no mouse or keybroad just use your fingers i love touch screen stuff think is the b*****ks and so up to date great stuff my phone is a bluetooth pda and smartphone it so quick to get on the internet and stuff i am suprised but i am well used to it now will not go back bring on the touch screen computers i was going for a blackberry but i throught no let go for a touch screen phone for change so i must say to u the sumsung is great but look around and have a look on ebay for ones there great u get some great ones on there
so lads and ladys go and shop around once a touch screen pc comes out i am buying it ok if i get one first i will tell u what there like ok
