Started at 8am, left to go Marks to get the Saff setup. Car went fine all the way there etc. So Mark pops the boonet and starts to work! 20mins or so later its time to take the car out for the first run, So on comes boost the car first time and my SECS monitor goes Crazy flashing 19.5V from the battery Thought hmm thats a bit high, but then it setteled down more or less so i thought maybe its a new alternator its just need to be bedded in etc.

SO of we go after few more tweaks and car is now set up after some of Marks driving Pull back to see i had a Very slight water leak from the thermostat. Anyway decided to leave it until i get home as it was a very small leak and wasnt going to affect the coolant level.

So now i said bye to Mark one VERY happy chappy. Of we trudeled down the M4 to the first services as i need some food So get the food, eat it and then im waiting for my mate to finish having a piss so i thought i know what i can do (i never leave anything alone) i will nip my Thermostat up so out came my tools nips it up and it started to piss out water Fuck i was shitting myself thinking im going to need towing home from Reading. Anyway out comes my mate said just undo it slightly agian, so undone the bolt slightly and it stoped leaking totally Few.

So back on M4 happly doing about 70-80mph then i here CLUNK bang. Thought hmm that sounded like a bolt. So car kept driving ok so i said i would pull into the next servies for look. So next service comes and i pull in, then i also noticed my Voltage had droped to 11.2 on the SECS gauge! Thought hmm thats strange maybe the alternor bolt was the one which to come out. So poped the boonet and the bolt which came of was for my turbo damper DOH need to order bolt and washer from Bailey tomorrow now Quick look at Alternator and all fine! so thought stange but nothing really of it.

Left Service agian car going fine but every 3-4 miles noticed .1 of a volt droping on my SECS gauge. I thought oh fook thats no right my alternator must be screwed. So of it keeps drop down .1 volt it got to 10 and i switch of all the electrics in the car. Getting close to 7 Bridge and where on 9Volts now pulled up to toll booth and window went down V slowely thought fuck last think i want to be stuck on M way. Anyway phone Stretch to see if he was in and he was Though closet place to get too. AS i pulled into Strecths place that car was reading 6volts as i pulled up out side the car was dead lol.

Stretch got on the phone to Alternator man and he said the Regulator had pack his bags and left when i hit 19.5V But lucky now Stretch has got a 1.6 Serria down his place so swaped that over to try on mine!! Started the car with jump pack and the volts was still going down! WTF Then click erm might help if u put the belts on Stretch So after minor technical difficulty the car was now running fine agian

Got car home parked it on drive let it run out of gear and i heard a nasty noise from Gearbox, i started to panic and think uh oh box is on the way out. So quick Phone to Bernie at Gearbox center explained what noise was and he asked if i got uprated Clutch. To which i said yep then he explained it was that and nothing to worry about FEW!!!!

So now car is sat on my drive, i just washed it ready to go out for a little blast later
