Oil leak experts!
After giving the cossie a hard time for two nights in a row the dreaded oil leak has reappeared again
Its got me puzzled(not easy I know), there is quite alot of oil all along the underside of the car but only on passenger side.
There is defo an oil leak at the cam wheels but Im not sure that its the main leak.
I have put all breather pipes into clear bottles to make sure its not breathing heavy etc but they were clear.
My question is, has anyone any ideas where it can be coming from?
It seems to be concentrated around the ARB bush on the passenger side and then blows under the car the faster you go.
What you guys think?

Same leak as before Stoo.
Graceland its just had a new crank shaft seal, the leak is only on passenger side of the car.
No oil on the driver side of exhaust etc, so if it was the crank seal you would think it would be more uniform under the car?

First thought would have been the breather but if you have put the hoses into bottles it rules that out, unless there is a split hose or loose fitting under the inlet where it goes into the block.

How come it went away for a while? I take it you found where it was coming from and now it's back? Faulty replacement seal or something?
Stick it on axel stands, lie underneath it and then get someone to run it up

its odd, i cant think of much on that side of the motor...
oil pressure switch.
standard breather port(block)
sump gasket,
does your block have the blanking plate below the dizzy? ive had a leak there before....

Mine was the same too, i'd hammer it, put it back into the garage and when i got the car back out bloody oil on the floor... ended being a leak from the sump on mine, it was throwing oil all down the car even onto the diff so it looked like the diff was leaking...
Used to come down the left side of the ARB and drip off..
Atleast it's good for under seal Euan..

probably from around the cam bearings - they need sealing in. it dribbles all down the block and drips off the sump bolts.
thoroughly clean the are first with brake cleaner and then use loctitie high temperature sealant with copper

If your pushing towards 300bhp then you'll have to upgrade your breather system as the increased crank case pressure can force oil out all over the place. Are you near this power level?

It could be the cam wheels but it looks like too much for that?
It seems to be too far forward to be crank shaft oil seal so I think its something onthe engine?
Going to get it up on a ramp the mora, clean it all then go out for a run and see if I can see it.

can only think of a few things on that side of block
oil filter housing
turbo feed line and pressure switch
breather port
sump gasket
carnk seal front and rear
thats it, so one of thos things, or as already mentioned its the cam seals
but how much oil is it
as 1 drop makes a big patch, and with ethe movemnet of the air can spread quite wide, so possibly a very tiny leak somewhere which will be a pain to find as normal

Its not as bad as it once was as im not having to put alot of oil in at all but I know what you mean
