i did cheat a little on the first 2 attempts, but won fair and square on the third.... even though he was throwing a paddy cos he lost the first two!

Also - completely agree about being knackered - the last two cars I was in was the JP1 and the Single seater - whilst it was the best last, I was totally fucked by then - total new found respect for the F1 guys.
Times all very impressive btw - would love to do it again if I ever get the chance!

i just found in the JP1's that i didnt have the strength to full turn the wheel in as much as i wanted to!!
the instructer was telling me to hold the wheel at quarter to three, when all i wanted to do was hold it at twenty to two just so i could get a little more leverage!!
ah ok, you did have a slight disadvantage with the weather!

hmmmmmm as much as i hate to admit it, i did enjoy the caterhams as i spent most of the time getting it sideways!
the dual event where Lee and me went head to head was awesome fun too!
but then so were the clios... oh my god they were all just fab!

I agree with you - the Caterhams were awesome! Though I must admit, I would have liked the same number of laps in them again - I had never been in anything like it before in my life! I am 6ft 5", and 20st, so I always assumed that I wouldnt fit!
Now I know I fit in one, the whole concept takes on a new meaning!
Your time was awesome! The weather wasnt that bad on the caterhams - it was just spitting with rain at that point!!
I know what you mean about the JP1s - I was in the long wheelbase one, which was slightly better for legroom, but useless for arm room - on the big hairpin corner, I had to grab the wheel in the wrong position, as there was no room for my elbows to turn fully!
