oh dear

Enlist the help of the people pointing and laughing at you, and try rocking the car from side to side?

Get a jack from somewhere, jack it up, and see if you can reach up from underneath?

The only tools you have to get inside your car is your phone and passionford, good luck

You can open your car with any Ford Focus key. This is a fact. Find a friend with a Ford Focus Key and you are in. Infact, can you open the bonet once in the car?

I think not? Benni.

isnt it a case that any key will lock the door but only the right key opens it?

I'm sure if that was true, it would be a bit more of a 'well known fact'

You can lock any ford with any ford key, but only your key will open your car. If benni is right, then I best go get mine in the garage

You are wrong. I am not going to argue with you because I am right. It's a fact which is not very well known.

First of all, let me give you detailed instructions on how to do it. Then you will eat your words. Is that fair?

Call the AA or RAC you'd be suprised at the tricks some of them have to get into your car rather easily in situations such as this

Failing that ask someone for a flat headed screwdriver bang it in the bonnet lock & twist but make sure no-one see's you doing it as they may think your stealing the car

I know on the prefacelift mk1 you can get access into the boot through the wiring that is behind the 3rd brake light. However, this won't help you get into the bonnet to retreive your keys!

I am not wrong, I assure you of it. How do you think the Tezza off the FFOC got into Peterdee's car at FITP? I am not 100% Sure so I have text my brother and once he replies I shall PM you.

But believe me, I will make you eat your words.

wish i had known this a while ago . my birds kid opened the boot on her focus with the remote , left the keys in the boot and then shut the boot , all the dorrs are still locked . then the AA bloke couldnt get in and we had to smash the rear passenger window to get in ! nice !

I know there were only 32 different cuts of key for the original focus's or something stupid like that. But EVERY single focus key in the world doesnt open every focus in the world

Look at this reply on a Focus Forum Rich.

Happened to me after a cam install. Worst, the car was running. We used another focus key and somehow it unlocked the passenger door. Could be a 1 time thing but free and worth a shot.
Do you still think you are right?

there are only so mant combinations on keys

it is reckoned 1 in 10 cars have the same key its just the chip in the key that stops people driving off in other cars (same make of corse ie ford , renault, shitron)

You'll be wating a while I'm afriad. My brother changes his number far too often. At worst you will have to wait until he comes in tonight to collect his work clothes.

But I know I am right, and Richard will eat his words.

No. You use the Key and you cause no damage, it takes about 15 seconds.
