Put the key right in the lock, hard over to the right, pull it back a little bit, and keep going hard over to the right moving the key in and out very slowly, this will wear all the tumblers, which will allow it to open. Will cause no damage what so ever.

A number of years ago a woman put her bag in the boot of her Merc (iirc) and the bag happened to have her keys in it!! They called the AA out who tried numerous things, but couldn't do anything and through the "15mintues tow home" or whatever it is policy he was prepared to give up and tow her home.

I stuck my nose in and started ripping the back seats out looking for a way through. On the back parcel shelf was a hole around 2inches square. It took me an hour, but I used the AA mans long rods and managed to move shopping, get the bag up the front of the boot (It was just inside the boot from the back) and get her keys out of the bag and through the whole!! The woman was soooooo greatful she didn't have to spend much money (Gave me Ł20 for my effort instead of Ł100 odd per hour from Merc) or smash the window... (I was in work, so got paid while doing it )

I had alot of people floating about down the high street watching and being nosey and after the woman drove off I heard a few people talking and said "A woman locked her keys in the boot and the AA man got them out" He wanted to tow her off an hour before hand!!

With time and patience you can get out of the old "Lock yourself out" situation. I was even gonna remove a bonded in windscreen once just to get the keys out the ignition (Was a screen fitter at the time)

my clifford locked the car up one night..with the car running..long story keys in the ignition..and the cars happy on tickover me and my mate sitting there looking at the car all locked up

i rang a taxi. as i was close to home about 3 miles away ..

gets back to the car..and the taxi driver says fuck you never said it was a cosworth LOL ..

and then i said to him have seen the size of the fella sitting on the wall "BIG DAVE " 6.7 18 stone its in good hands while i went back for the keys ive got 3 spares now
