I have a T3 from an old metro, could this be fitted to an ERST manifold and used as is? Thanks

Thanks, was quite show that it wouldn't fit, just saw a thread on ebay for a new t3 and it listed both the metro turbo and ERST in the title, so wondered if the turbo I had would fit. Obviously just an ebay selling technique.

yeah, nice advice jim

You ever seen one?

If its a real T3 it will fit straight to an RST manifold.

Might not be the same compressor and turbine sizes as an ERST one, but if its a real T3 it would fit and would run, which is what he asking.

If its a metro turbo item the comp is the same size as a ERST but the turbine is a 0.25 rather than a 0.63!!

Not much use on a Ford - great on a std metro

ERST is .36 or summat, not .63, 63 is massive in comparison.

Never seen a .25 a/r housing before on any turbo, thats properly small
