Default Actuators T3

Okay just went to up the PSI from 12 to 14 on the FRST so tried adjusting the actuator (im right in shorter rod more PSI yeah lol), and i've run out of adjustment,

Now i have a boost valve (not bleed valve) i bought to try and decrease spool up time a while back but would prefer to set it on the actuator as i don't really trust the valve and havn't had it connected for a while now, how can you tell if its a -31 or standard one actuator etc, and why would it run out of adjustment could it be a weak spring etc, also would this hert spool time etc, Cheers SEB

ok i can't see -31 stamped anywhere just been cleaning it and looks like it might have a 60 or 09 stamped on it but thats it, its got a small RS sticker lol and thats about it, the rod is fully wound in shortest possible and it would boost to 12psi and hold it ok,

A -31 spring rating isnt available for the FRST T2.

Also, if youve run out of adjustment, your now going to have boost creep, which will potentially melt your engine.

Its been to a tuner twice in the last 18 months its going again in a few weeks for a tune up on the rolling road, how can i test weather its a -31 and what is the difference between a -31 and standard item, what the gains etc, when i had the boost valve (forgot the actuall name) the one with a spring and ball bearing in a seat etc, i had it set to 15psi then and it would boost fine and hold 15psi no problems, but want to adjust it on the actuator but just havn't got enough adjustment left, is it ok to shorten the rod by cutting a few threads off, the actuator holds pressure fine and doesn't seem to leak either, Cheers SEB

Cheers for the help was just after info thats all if it can't be adjusted then surley he would need a new actuator he might not have one in stock etc, was just after some more info on the difference between -31's and standard and trying to work out the one i have, the only way i can see this one adjusting to 15psi would be by cutting the shaft but then surley this would mean your pushing it to do what its not mean't for, either its faulty and should give higher psi at given adjustment or its not a -31, i've been told before a -31 should give a minimum of 10psi, the rod had about 8 turns left when it was at 10psi i turned it about 7 times to get it to 12psi, and now i can't adjust it any more, i would rather do it myself all ready for a drive to the tuners than stand around down there or wait for him to get the parts in etc,

So just after some info thats all thanks for the help so far
