I bought over £800 worth of Jaguar parts off this guy from ebay (userid amjparts.) I never heard from him then after doing some googling i came acroos this website:
http://www.fortunecity.com/meltingpo...idge/9/jaguar/
I found out a little about him and notices he sells alot of RS cosworth parts. After being told he is a member on here i emailed him and surprise surprise i finally got a reply! After seven months of having my car stood i recieved 90% of teh parts. Til this day he wont reply or answer his phone. Ive known of a lot of other people who have been scammed by this same person. Just a warning to you all STAY AWAY. Im actually paying him a visit this weekend along with another fellow Jaguar forum member so if anyone has any other concerns i can raise them.

Make sure you don't come home without your money. I hate these idiots who travel to the moon to be told he is out or doesn't live here anymore and then leave.

Seems strange how this thread had virtually no replies?

i find that taking a tow truck tends to help the situation, because what you then do is chop the handbrake cable of the car you are going to take and hook it up before knocking on the door

then, when no one replies or he's "not in" you simply leave an address where the remanants of the car can be collected from once you have sold enough of it to recoup your costs

and if they guy comes out and says "here you go, here's the money" etc etc "now fix my handbrake cable" you simply explain that the cable cutting was free of charge and bid him farewell

my cousin did this to a guy many moons ago and left after giving him a cheery wave

he also opened some guys V12 jag up, popped the bonnet, attached a set of leads to the relevant electrics to wind the windows down, put them down and then removed the battery and all the fuses after the guy failed to pay him for fixing the car
he was sheltering under an umbrella at the time of doing all this but the car was a bit wet and pongy as the guy didn't have anything to stop the water geting in for the next few hours

So its ok for him to take the piss but if you do anything back you get a kicking

Sounds like a lovely fella, if thats how he runs his business its no wonder he has been able to build such a highly specced car.

I dont know Ally well but i do know people who have worked for him and i do not think that is acceptible behaviour not to send items someone has bought BUT, if you turned up at my address and tried to lift a car i'd chop your legs off.

I think that would depend on your behaviour when said customer arrives on your doorstep asking for a refund.

There is enough people in this world that wouldn't take any shit from anyone and if he/you said "your getting fuck all back" I'd be prepared for a kicking and tbh I'd say that the seller deserved it for not doing the right thing in the first place.

Also a man that can afford to build a 100k car and compete in a Championship shouldn't need to potentially rip people off which actually makes it even worse IMO

nothing of the sort mate

the guy has arranged to go and meet this character with another person who also is owed money and they wish to resolve the matter so if he's not there then obviously it's come to a point where he's not to be trusted

besides, if someone owed you money and you didn't have the cc company to chase the £40 the principle is still true

also, don't hold grudges, either do something about it as soon as you can after the event or forget about it, because 10 years down the line you don't know what the score is

and finally, i know it's what i'd do if it were my money i was getting screwed for, but i'd also be wise enough to have a good alabi as to my whereabouts

well ! i think this has gone on long enough now , firstly the guy in question mr mercuy s2 was sent all the parts he ordered from me but he didnt supply the correct address so the parts sat in the depo awaiting delivery for 2 weeks ,also his contact number was wrong or he didnt answer the phone , so what was i to do ? , the courier company attempted another 2 times but still no reply , its the couriers policy to return goods if undeliverable ,so they did . another 2 weeks pass and still no response from the buyer , then i get threatening pms through this forum about some undelivered parts etc, so eventually we get it sorted , and that was that
then a few weeks later he threatens to leave this name and shame thread on pf if i dont send some other parts that i didnt have and he thinks he has paid for ,news to me !
as for money i owe him ??? he has had all that he has paid for and in addition i have paid for delivery of the items twice if not 3 times

as for time scales this all took aprox 2 months not 7

ive no idea on who this other person from some other forum is as its not in my nature the "rip people off" just goes to show how there isnt a flurry of users putting there part in eh?

as for coming up to see me then ? i was in the whole day satarday and guess what ? no show !

what he thinks he is going to achieve with this thread who knows

R5FORD no it was not me that was boasting about the amount of torque my cars got ,get your facts right before opening your mouth please!

and further to this anybody attempting to damage any of my property will be delt with in the apropriate manor! like for like

here endith the lesson

anybody with good words to say about me please do so as i feel this is out of order and im proud to be a part of this community

ps did you guys like the little fezzy? lol
