He informs me its 280RWHP, and is on a standard engine which I saw him rebuild in his garage at home having never done one before, no fancy bits, standard turbos.

Thats because of the dark driver!

The car is standard engine, v mount intercooler and radiator, 15psi boost, apexi PFC ecu, coilovers, thats about it.

oh, polybushes and suzuka S seats with 6 point harnesses but they dont tend to make you go any faster

Few other bits but nothing speed inducing... And as chip mentions, built and setup (including geometry and suspension settings) by my hand in my humble garage.

those injectors are standard size too lol.

1 lap of the ring = quarter tank.
1 tank = 20 US Gallons

Expensive track time! haha; but awesomely fun.

What kind of retard thinks RX7s are no good for fast laps?

They are one of the best handling RWD production cars ever made. Held a few records when new for stopping distances and stuff too IIRC.

They've always been the fastest of the front engine RWDs in Time Attack in the UK and Japan.

And not anything special for drifting really.

Oh ive never doubted they were quick round track, as Ive driven them and know they go round corners well, but I am still impressed at that time still given the number of elements of traffic you hit

P.s i forgot about something above re:me doing all the work. That was a lie. thanks to Julian at Garage-D for sorting out the Vmount setup for this car, it works great.

its some sony bullet cam thing i just plug into my DV camera, not sure what it is - but i remember it being the top one when i bought it, 520 lines or something.
