Jeremy drove the CLK Black series a couple of weeks ago!
And when he drove the brabus version of the SL a few years ago he hated it and it put a shit time round the track because it had too much torque and couldn't handle it. Hope this isn't more of the same i.e. shit hot engine and chassis/suspension can't cope for shit.

That SL Black looks awful to my eyes. Conversely the CLK Black looks about right.

believe so. missed the show, but it must have been reasonably good as my boss has just dumped the aston dbs he had on order for 45k over the retail price and ordered one of these instead. takes delivery in 5 weeks. (as he keeps reminding me!)

clk black with every toy mercedes do. didn't know it was that much cash! think he was saying that the clk was 30k odd less than the aston, but cos of the demand for the dbs the buyer was paying 45k over the odds for it. all done through the aston dealership!
apparently the clk is a complete animal. (although he did test drive it in the wet). will let you know when he brings it in and i take it for a blast
